The daily graphic calendar.
365 days – 365 pictograms
Beginning on January 1st, 2014, Mutabor provided colorful commentary on global current events through its one-of-a-kind digital calendar blog. In humorous, thought-provoking and unconventional pictograms and small illustrations, Mutabor analyzed and re-interpreted the latest news and happenings in the world of international politics, communications and pop culture each and every day. No exceptions.
Through daily editorial exchanges focusing on socially relevant or industry-related topics, the organizational foundation was laid to find, discuss and create these daily posts. The individual pictograms are characterized by the same clear and concise style that defines the Mutabor portfolio and thus further brand recognition. A short text augments each graphic with colorful descriptions or essential information and context.

Pictogram as front-page news
A major highlight for lingua365 was translating the front page of the Hamburg Abendblatt newspaper into pictograms, using the characteristic lingua365 style.

Through the newspaper feature and in combination with a broad spectrum of entertaining and relevant topics, lingua365 garnered some 10,000 followers and the status of “Recommended Blog” on mircoblogging platform Tumblr by the end of 2014. As a crowning achievement, the blog won 5 medals—1 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze—at the 2015 ADC (Art Directors Club) Festival.
